2008 yılından bu yana Global Telecoms Business dergisi tarafından teknoloji dünyasının en etkili insanlarının belirlendiği GTB Power 100 sıralaması açıklandı. Listenin ilk sırasında Facebook’un kurucusu Mark Zuckerberg bulunurken, ülkemizden de Turkcell’in CEO’su Süreyya Ciliv bulunuyor.

Listenin ilk sırasında yıllık 7.8 milyar dolar geliri ve 1.2 milyar kullanıcısı olan Facebook’un kurucusu Mark Zuckerberg’in olması şaşırtıcı değil. Ayrıca Zuckerberg’in halen şirketin %28’ine sahip olduğunun altı çiziliyor.

Sesli iletişimde Skype ile başarısız olan Facebook’un, Whatsapp ile büyük bir adım attığından bahsedilen GTB Power 100 listesinde, daha çok internet şirketlerinin CEO’larının olması dikkat çekiyor.

Sıralamada dikkat çeken isimler arasında dördüncü sırada bulunan Netflix dışında, Whatsapp’ın CEO’su Jan Koum ve Spotify’ın kurucusu Daniel Ek de bulunuyor. Apple’ın CEO’su Tim Cook yedinci sırada kendisine yer bulurken, Google’ın robotik biriminin yöneticisi Andy Rubin ve Alibaba’nın kurucusu Jack Ma da tanıdık isimler arasında.

Türkiye’den tek isim

Uzakdoğu ve Asya’dan birçok ismin de bulunduğuı GTB Power 100 listesine, ülkemizden yalnızca Süreyya Ciliv’i 53. sıradan görüyoruz. GTB, Ciliv’in Turkcell’i bir iletişim şirketi olmasından öteye taşıyıp farklı ürün ve servisler sunan bir teknoloji şirketi haline getirdiğine vurgu yapılmış.
